Two-day RYA multihull courses at Findhorn Watersports Centre, running 09:15 to 16:30 each day.
Courses run at two levels:
- Level 1 - for adults with little or no previous experience. Rigging, launching and landing a multihull dinghy, basic sailing techniques and manoeuvres, essential safety procedures and seamanship, wind awareness and points of sail, capsize recovery, and the basic rules of the road at sea
- Level 2 - an intensive course for those who have completed Level 1 or have equivalent experience. Refining boat handling, tacking, gybing and sailing to best advantage, safety and seamanship skills, and an introduction to basic racing and performance techniques

What's included
- Tuition from qualified, experienced RYA instructors
- All necessary sailing equipment apart from footwear
- Full use of Findhorn Watersports facilities during the day
- Certification upon successful completion
What to bring
- Suitable footwear (wetsuit boots or old trainers you are happy to get wet) - no crocs or flip-flops
- A packed lunch and sufficient drinks
- Towel, swimwear and a change of clothes
- Sun protection and warm layers, depending on the weather
Additional details
- Duration: 2 days, 09:15 to 16:30 each day
- Participants must be aged 16 or over
- Level 2 requires completion of RYA Level 1 Multihull or equivalent experience
- Please arrive promptly at 09:15 for registration and briefing
- Courses run in a variety of weather conditions; if we judge conditions unsafe we will offer an alternative date or credit
