A full day of one-to-one private dinghy coaching in the sheltered waters of Findhorn Bay, for adults and young sailors alike. The session is built entirely around you, with expert coaching and full safety support throughout - and you will be at the helm from the start.
The day begins with an instructor briefing and a boat walk-around, then step-by-step guidance through rigging, launching, steering, tacking and gybing, with water confidence drills including safe capsize and recovery practice. Coaching is real-time throughout the day so skills build as you go, with a lunch and rest break ashore. If you are ready for more, we will go further - racing advice and more advanced boat handling.
Private lessons are arranged at mutually convenient times, so please contact the office to agree a date.
What's included

What to bring
- Packed lunch, snacks and a refillable water bottle
- Footwear that can get wet (wetsuit boots or old trainers) - no flip-flops or open sandals
- Warm, layered clothing and a waterproof jacket
- Towel and a change of clothes
- Sun protection - hat and sunscreen
