About Findhorn Watersports

Findhorn Watersports is run by Jane and Niall Campbell Morrison from the Royal Findhorn Yacht Club, on the sheltered tidal bay where the River Findhorn meets the Moray Firth.

We are accredited by the Royal Yachting Association to deliver RYA certificated courses — dinghy and multihull sailing, powerboating, shore-based navigation and radio courses, and instructor training — alongside paddlesport, equipment hire and a summer water taxi across to Culbin Sands.

Our aim is to provide opportunities for as many different people as possible to participate in watersports, and to enjoy the Blue Space as a way of improving both physical and mental health. In practice that runs from a parent and child’s first hour afloat, through junior squads and adult RYA courses, to instructors qualifying to teach.

Every instructor on the team holds instructional qualifications from the Royal Yachting Association or British Canoeing as a minimum.
