Our Junior Dolphins sessions at Findhorn Watersports offer an exciting mix of beach and water-based activities, specially designed for young people aged 8 to 14 years.
No prior sailing experience is needed – just a sense of adventure and a willingness to get involved.

Junior Seals Dinghy Sailing Session – ALL DAY
Seals is a session that helps young people with a small amount of sailing experience to progress their sailing skills. This session may include wind activities on the beach, as well as sailing, as this is a session intended to help with building confidence and wind awareness in young people.
It is suitable for children with RYA Stage 1 certification – making it the perfect next step in their sailing journey.
Junior Seals Dinghy Sailing Session – mornings
Seals is a session that helps young people with a small amount of sailing experience to progress their sailing skills. This session may include wind activities on the beach, as well as sailing, as this is a session intended to help with building confidence and wind awareness in young people.
It is suitable for children with RYA Stage 1 certification – making it the perfect next step in their sailing journey. There are a maximum number of 12 children on each day and we need a minimum of 3 children to run these sessions.

Our Orca sailing sessions are designed for young sailors who have already achieved Stage 3, and are looking to build confidence and skills while working towards Stage 4. For those who have achieved Stage 4, there will also be a focus on developing seamanship skills and starting race preparation, whilst enjoying time on the water.
