Saltwater Scholars
Led by qualified instructors, these sessions focus on sailing skills, water safety, and developing independence on the water — with the opportunity to work towards formal sailing qualifications over time. Rooted in the Scottish Curriculum for Excellence, Saltwater Scholars supports:

🔹 What to Expect

Fun, supportive sailing sessions led by qualified instructors

Learn basic to intermediate sailing skills

Progress toward recognised sailing qualifications
🔹 What to Bring
- Swimwear

Warm layers (fleece, thermal top, etc.)

Change of clothes and towel
- Closed-toe shoes or old trainers that can get wet (no flip-flops or open sandals)

Wetsuit (if you have them – we can provide if not)

Sunscreen and hat (weather dependent)

Any medication needed (please let us know in advance)
- Packed snacks and drinks (we will supply hot chocolate or hot squash.
Each 4-hour session (10am – 2pm) is a stand-alone adventure — book as many or as few as you like — with real progress and new friendships waiting at every turn of the sail.
