Junior RYA Stages 2 & 3 all day Dinghy Sailing Course

Course Content Includes:
Rigging, launching, and recovery
Ropework and knots
Sailing in all directions
Tacking and gybing with control
Sailing theory and basic meteorology
Introduction to racing
Man overboard recovery
Sailing a triangular course
Developing sailing skills to sail independently in light to moderate conditions.

Courses are delivered by RYA-qualified instructors, with a focus on safety, fun, and hands-on learning in a supportive environment.

What to Bring:
Footwear that can get wet (e.g., old trainers or wetsuit boots)
Warm layers and a waterproof jacketTowel and change of clothes
Sun protection (hat, sunscren)
Packed lunch and plenty of snacks
Refillable water bottle

All technical equipment, including boats, buoyancy aids, and wetsuits, is provided.

Prerequisites:
Participants must have completed RYA Stage 1 or have equivalent experience.

Age Group:
Suitable for ages 8–14.
This course is ideal for young sailors who are keen to make real progress in their sailing and lays a solid foundation for future training or club participation.
