What You’ll Learn
Rigging and de-rigging boats with minimal assistance
Sailing efficiently in all directions
Controlling boat speed
Understanding basic sailing theory
Responding to wind changes
Recovering from capsize
Basic understanding of sailing rules

What to Bring
Suitable footwear (wetsuit boots or old trainers you are happy to get wet)
Warm, waterproof clothing appropriate for weather conditions
Change of clothes
Towel
Snacks and water bottle
Sunscreen and hat (weather dependent)
Enthusiasm and willingness to learn!

Prerequisites
RYA Stage 1 certificate or equivalent experience
Basic swimming ability
Minimum age: 8 years
