RYA Stage 1: Introduction to Sailing

In Stage 1, budding sailors, aged 8 and above, are introduced to the fundamental skills of sailing in a safe and enjoyable environment. Under the guidance of our experienced instructors, children will learn the basics of rigging, launching, and steering their own dinghy. After completing Stage 1, your child will understand the basic principles of sailing in order to move on to Stage 2. No prior knowledge of sailing is needed to take up this course.

This course runs for either 5 consecutive Mornings [9.15am – 12.30pm ] or 5 consecutive Afternoons [1.15pm – 4.30pm].
